Allergies

Testing:

Allergic symptoms are more and more common and can start at any age. we can test for most common airborne allergies (e.g. pollen, dust mites, animal hair) and advise you regarding other cross interactions. To have successful tests results, it is highly important to stop the intake of antihistaminic medications (Cetirizin, Loratidin and others)  for a minimum of 5 days before the test as well as any oral medication containing cortisone for 7 days. You can continue using nose spray or eye drops. Other medications might affect the outcome of the test as well. Ask us, which medication you can take.

Treatment:

Allergies can be treated! The so called hyposensibilisation / desensibilisation is a treatment plan that lasts for 3 years and can reduce both the symptoms as well as prevent the onset of asthma. We offer this treatment as as injection in our office.
